Young Media House is an alumni project of the youth organisation Avantis and the International media camp Young Media Sharks, with the aim to offer youth practical skills in media content creation and event organisation.

This is a place where you can meet professionals in the media field during lectures and seminars and get inspired. A place that gathers the most brilliant and creative media minds of the future.

Although the media center is based in Riga, it is mobile and offers various activities in the regions and different places in Riga. The organizers of the activities themselves are young people who, under the guidance of mentors, realize ideas to offer to their peers.

Every day, 30 young people aged 15 to 25 from the Junior Media Team work at Young Media House. They create their own media content in journalism, produce video and photo reports, and organize public events for other young people.

Since 2020, Young Media House has also been a social enterprise that offers photo, video, advertising, and training services to municipalities and businesses.
